Edith Márquez Landa was born on January 27, 1973. She began her career at a very young age on shows like "Juguemos a Cantar" (Let's Play Sing), "Canta, Canta" (Sing, Sing), and as a member of the group Timbiriche between 1988 and 1991.

In 1998, she launched her solo career with the album "Frente a ti" (In Front of You), where she debuted with hits like "Mi error, mi fantasía" (My mistake, my fantasy), "Mírame" (Look at me), and "Por hablarle de ti" (For talking about you).

After eight successful albums, she began a new stage in 2011 with the album "Amar no es suficiente" (To love is not enough) which reached Platinum status.

Between 2013 and 2016, she released two ranchera concept albums, "Emociones I" and "Emociones II" (Emotions I and Emotions II), which sold over 100,000 copies between the two and began the "Mis emociones tour" (My Emotions Tour) with which she continues to tour Mexico.

2017 was a year of big projects for Edith Márquez, as she performed the "Par de reinas" (Pair of Queens) tour alongside Ana Bárbara and participated in 3 concerts of the "Grandiosas" tour.

Edith Márquez released the song "Aunque sea en otra vida" (Even if it's in another life), which became a hit on digital platforms and radio nationwide. The video has already generated more than 11 million views and debuted at number one on the overall iTunes chart.

Her new album "Contigo" (With You) was released on August 24 in physical and digital formats and remains at the top of sales charts nationwide.
