Groups like Venom, Mercyful Fate, and Slayer may have founded death metal in the early '80s, but it wasn't until such disciples as Morbid Angel came along at the close of the decade that the genre was pushed to its most extreme level, both musically and lyrically. Formed in 1983 in Florida, Morbid Angel (along with Death) would also help spearhead an eventual death metal movement in their home state, which would include such notables as Deicide and Obituary, among countless others.
Morbid Angel first played The Rave/Eagles Club as part of Milwaukee Metalfest IV in 1990. The band later returned opening for the likes of Black Sabbath, and Slayer before headlining on their own starting in 1998. This will be their 8th performance at The Rave/Eagles Club.

Cell phone cameras and small pocket cameras usually allowed. NO FLASH. Your camera may be confiscated if you use flash. No professional cameras. No 35mm cameras. No cameras with removable lenses. No high definition DSLR cameras allowed without photo pass, and then only in the pit during allotted time set forth by the band. No video recording equipment, or audio recording equipment allowed. If your cellphone camera has a flash, please turn the flash off. This policy is subject to change depending on the band's day-of-show decisions.
